A pediatric sleep consultant is a certified professional who specializes in working with families to help implement healthy sleep habits. This includes assessing the child's current sleep patterns and identifying any barriers to sleep, working with families to create a customized sleep plan, and offering ongoing support and guidance throughout the process.
Although we live in a world where we can access tons of information over the internet, there is also an unfortunate amount of misinformation out there as well. A certified pediatric sleep consultant with the proper credentials will provide you with evidence-based scientific research that has proven to help improve your child's sleep quality, which is essential for your their development.
I do not teach the Cry-it-Out Method simply because I believe there are alternative, gentler options available that are effective in teaching your little one independent sleep.
Nope! Since I conduct services virtually, I am able to work with families all over the world!
We will begin with a complimentary 15-minute consultation in which we will go over your sleep concerns for your child. Following the consultation, you will be able to select from one of my packages and fill out an intake form. You will then receive a personalized, detailed sleep plan within 24-48 hours and can begin implementing it right away. I am here every step of the way providing support throughout the whole process during our contracted time.
Since sleep habits and schedules begin emerging around 3-4 months of age, I work with babies and toddlers starting from 3 months until age 5. However, if you have any questions or concerns beginning earlier than 3 months, you can always reach out and I would be happy to help.
No - since sleep consulting is an educational and coaching service, not a medical service, I do not bill insurance. Most insurance providers only cover care delivered by licensed medical professionals. However, sleep consulting services may be eligible for reimbursement through your Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).
My methods are backed by science with proven strategies to help your little one learn independent sleep. That being said, these methods are only as effective as the consistency and effort being put forth. Due to the amount of time and effort to curate custom sleep plans, I am not able to offer refunds at this time.
